Ava and her ice cream

Okay, okay, so these pictures are REALLY old. Josh took them sometime this summer. I've been meaning to blog more often, but, well, life gets busy. You know how it is. So, anyway, it's pretty much an unwritten rule that you can't be a Solar if you don't like ice cream. And if you're 2 years old and your name is Ava, you will also make a huge mess with said ice cream.

1 Hour With Lia

The other day, Max & Ava were at pre-school, and mommy was laying down to take a nap. I decided to grab my camera and follow little Lia around for awhile. Here is what I saw.

She likes to read books.

She also likes to grab her favorite blankies...

and go night night in uncomfortable, and random places.

After nap, she'll then carry the blankies all over the house.

Lia also likes to grab any juice cup and drink, no matter who's it is.

Solarisms: Happy Napping

I believe the term 'happy napping' came about when Ava was a baby. One day when she was going down for a nap, Max and I told her, "Goodnight Ava. Happy napping!" And now it's something we say all the time.

Max and Ava love to jump in the crib with Lia when she wakes up from her nap.
